Having enjoyed a mutually successful 36 year working relationship with Ford Motor Company, the time has come for a slight change of directions for Carters of Chapeltown (Established 1957).

The motor industry is experiencing unprecedented changes just now with the onset of electric vehicle technology being forced upon us all by government, but this will not suit everyone and as Ford Motor Company are committed to taking its dealer network in the same direction, we have decided that our skills and 65+ years of experience will be much better applied to serving our incredibly loyal current and new customers alike, in the way we always have. Providing quality, friendly, good value service on all Petrol, Diesel and Hybrid cars and vans. 

What will this mean for our customers? 

Business as usual! The only change is that we will no longer be able to carry out Ford warranty repairs and the Free annual Service roadside assistance cover will end from 31st December 2023.

This new found 'freedom' will allow us to readily open our doors to owners of vehicles from 'all manufacturers'. As well as our 36 years of Ford experience, we have invested in the very latest universal Snap-on diagnostic system which will allow to take in repairs on any make and model. 

We will continue to carry out routine servicing to each manufacturers standards therefore maintaining your vehicles warranty status.

We will continue to be the only dealership in the area to off the 'full range' of services:

Service, repairs, MOT Testing and Diagnostics (Snap-on)
Tyres, Batteries and Exhausts
Bodywork, Paintwork and Restorations 
Car sales (Part exchanges very welcome)
